Jean Brewer -  Executive Director

Jean joined Mesa County RSVP, Inc. in July of 1994. She originally held the position of Administrative Recruitment Manager until 1999 when she was promoted to the position of Program Director. In January of 2000, she was promoted again to the position of Executive Director. Jean has an AA Degree in Office Management and a B.A. Degree with double emphasis in Human Resource Management and Office Administration. Jean completed a year-long Executive Leadership training course with Community Resource Center in Denver in 2003.

Aleta Ballard - Office Manager

Aleta joined Mesa County RSVP, Inc. in August of 1999. She has AAS Degrees in Graphic Technology and Legal Assistance. She originally was hired as the Administrative Assistant and the additional title of Handyman Coordinator was added in 2000 when her job duties were expanded. In October 2006 she was promoted to the position of Office Manager.

Lee Gelatt - Senior Scholar Project Manager

Lee Gelatt joined Mesa County RSVP, Inc. in August of 1999. Lee has a BS Degree in Biology and a Secondary Teaching Certificate (1988). Lee held several positions as a teacher in local area schools before beginning his position with us.

Marianne North - Handyman Project Manager

Marianne North joined RSVP September 18, 2006 to fill a newly created position. She is a native Coloradoan who just recently moved back here from Wyoming. She was a college English teacher for years and helped her husband in his construction company.

Ruth McCrea - Volunteer Manager

Ruth McCrea joined RSVP on November 12, 2007 to fill the Volunteer Managers Position.  She just recently finished her second year as an AmeriCorps volunteer.  She worked at the Counseling and Education Center for the past year as the Volunteer Coordinator there.  She is a potter, painter, and printer.  Her main artistic focus is as a potter.
