RSVP - An Invitation to Serve
Mesa County RSVP, Inc., is an invitation for you to help your community. RSVP works to make it easier for individuals 55+ to volunteer in the community. We provide mileage reimbursement, placement assistance, fun social activities, training opportunities, supplemental, secondary insurance, and recognition.
In addition to placement assistance with more than 100 local community organizations, RSVP offers unique and innovative signature volunteer programs.
Handyman Project - Volunteers providing minor home repair service to low-to-moderate income people and those with disabilities.
Senior Scholar Project - Volunteers tutoring children in local schools.
One-Time Projects - Crews of volunteers that we organize to help our Member
Agencies complete special projects.
SHIP (Senior Health Insurance Assistance Program) - Volunteers helping people navigate the complex Medicare and Medicaid Health Insurance Programs.
911 Cell Phone Bank - A program to recycle and refurbish used cell phones to be given to vulnerable people as an "Emergency Only" 911 cell phone
